Carson Middle school
Simplicity and unity in design are vital to creating buildings that sustain. This approach is demonstrated through our conscious decisiong to match the existing campus' air distribution systems, despite their inherent flaws. These flaws are addressed through straightforward modifications of the building's plant; thereby increasing energy efficiency in both the existing systems and new. Variable speed pumps, variable speed chillers, evaporative free cooling, and water side economizers all assisted in achieving our goal of unity, simplicity, and efficiency.
